Watches Of Switzerland, Interactive Catalogue

Watches of Switzerland is Australia’s leading retailer of the finest Swiss timepieces. Each year Visua have the privilege of producing an award winning, high quality print catalogue to showcase their products. Over time it became obvious that Watches of Switzerland needed to build on the success of the catalogue in order to reach a broader audience. One solution to this was the translation of the print catalogue into a interactive PDF presentation. This presentation allowed the viewer to browse the brands at their leisure and view enlarged details of each stunning timepiece. The inclusion of the eCatalogue within the suite of marketing tools meant that print and mailing costs could be significantly reduced.

Melbourne Water, Strategic Framework

For many years Melbourne Water had been using more traditional presentation tools such as PowerPoint to distribute their communications. This presented a number of issues, namely extremely large file sizes, font issues and restricted freedom with regards to the design layout. With a usage of more than 90% by organisations, PDF seemed an obvious choice for distributing Melbourne Water’s highly visual Strategic Framework document. The electronic document utilises a proprietary interactive PDF platform to create a full screen, dynamic presentation that can easily be emailed or distributed via USB memory stick.

Transurban, Interactive Publications

The Transurban Group required a medium to help grow its customer base and communicate key messages in both Australia and overseas. The interactive PDF provided such a platform, allowing them to transform a number of existing key printed publications into electronic PDF documents. The new ePublications allow the Transurban management team to travel light and disseminate each publication with the click of a button. Following the huge success of the first Transurban ePublication, further ePublications in three different languages were developed for the United States and South American markets.

Ryco Filters, Graphic Standards Manual

Following Visua’s rebranding of Ryco Filters, it was necessary to inform their global supply chain of the use of the brand and nuances of the new packaging design. The interactive PDF platform was the perfect vehicle for distributing this information globally, quickly and cost effectively. A Graphic Standards Manual is a living document and as such it is essential that the information contained within can be updated and added to, with the minimum of fuss. Ryco’s electronic Graphic Standards Manual has been distributed globally via email, CD and USB memory stick and continues to be updated regularly with vital new information.

Annex Investigation Services

Annex is an investigation services company working across all sectors of the industry, from corporate and insurance fraud to private investigations. Annex specialises in insurance investigations, surveillance, risk management and missing persons. When introduced to Visua’s interactive PDF platform they could immediately see the enormous potential. With a limited budget, we were able to produce a highly visual interactive marketing and presentation tool that enabled Annex to promote their business successfully to a broad market sector, without the need for print production. In real terms this equated to a saving of tens of thousands of dollars.
